Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has slammed Marcus Rashford for failing to score in Sunday’s 1-1 Premier League draw at home to Chelsea.

Towards the end of the first half, Rashford had a good chance to score when Bruno scooped the ball into the penalty area on the right side, where he shot with his right foot, but the ball hit the crossbar and went behind.
Speaking to Premier League Productions about the incident, Scholes said: “I expected him to do better. I thought he was trying to make it look good by diving under the bar.”
“It’s a simple side-foot volley from seven yards out. All he has to do is hit it low.”
